An Irish girl named Emer arrived in the dorm this morning, cool girl who is also traveling alone. We spent the day together with an older Australian guy who had been traveling around India a lot, he recommend a few places to eat and we saw the Ghats. The Ghats is where the dead are burnt in as ongoing flame that has been kept a lit for 3000 years. It was crazy to see a local drying his clothes next to a burning carcass.

We chilled at the hostel for the afternoon where I repaired Francis (the Aussie guy) camera… I also repaired my camera to remove the spec of dirt on the sensor; my camera was in about 100 bits, but I managed the fix the problem by removing and cleaning the sensor.

In the evening Francis was happy enough to pay for my dinner where soon after we headed to another restaurant where some others that I had met wanted to eat, they all handed me their leftovers which of course I love.

We then headed off to bed via the Lassi shop for our dessert which was delicious, its like sweetened yoghurt drink that was banana flavored.
