The only reason why Emer and I joined Vijew for breakfast was because we thought he owed us something in return for the meal last night and the fact I’m not going to pass up a free meal.

After brekky he took us to one of his friends stores called super Mario where the owners ‘get his’ looks like super Mario. He sold Pasminas, pillow covers and other fabrics.

We left after not purchasing anything, saying our farewells to Vijew both giving him a fake email (honestly why bother because the guy was a dick) and made our way to the train station to make our way to Agra.

I somehow managed to loose my ticket to Jhansi literally seconds after the purchase and after searching for a good while I gave up and having to buy another one but at 30 rupees for a 6 hour journey it wasn’t the worst mishap.

The train journey was the same as any other train journey in Asia where all the locals just sit and stare and want to be best friends with you asking for your email address for when they go to Australia to visit. I try my best to entertain the locals by showing card tricks and getting them to light matches using only a single hand and in return they offer tea and edibles.

We arrived in Jhansi where there were no ongoing trains to Agra so we were going to stay in Jhansi for the night but according to the guide book there was nothing to do there so instead we headed to a place called Orchha, a deserted medieval town that is a nice place to unwind.

The train actually passed here to route to Jhansi but at the time we didn’t know any better at the time and we had to organize a tuk-tuk for 250 rupees to get there, we grabbed dinner at an all you can eat thali place where we bumped into Francis (met in Vanarasi), we cruised the night market and saw some illuminated temples for a little while before crashing in the hotel room we checked into for 200 a night.
