I woke this morning feeling terrible, I had picked up some kind of cold and had spent the night coughing and sniffling. Yesterday Emer and I bought train tickets to Satna so we had to pick up the tickets we agreed on leaving Varinasi at 11.30pm but for some reason he bought us tickets leaving at 8.30pm, which ment we would arrive in Satna at 3am…he went on to say how much effort it was to find the tickets and asked us for a tip, perhaps I would tip if he got us the ticket we asked for.

The afternoon was uneventful for me as I was feeling a little under the weather and just slept in a spare bed in the dorm until Emer and I had to leave.

We left shanty hotel at 7 and made it to the train station with more than enough time to spare. We shared the open cabin with 3 French girls who were really sound.

I didn’t really sleep that much on the train as I was still feeling quite ill.

We arrived in Satna at 3am where the 5 of us were literally surrounded by these drivers offering ‘cheap ride’ to bus station it was almost impossible to push away the rickshaw drivers because they are relentless.

Anyways for 10 rupis each we made it to the bus station where we waited for 4 hours until it departed to Khajuraho.
