We finally arrived in Khajuraho at 10.30 after a painful 14 hour journey; I really was quite tired and was much in need of sleep but decided to check out the town with Emer, we got some breakfast and headed back to the hotel for an afternoon kip.

We wanted to see the temples tomorrow to get a whole day in but unfortunately this is the only thing to do here so in our boredom Emer and I bought a small bottle of whisky and downed it before grabbing dinner which again was Thali. We met the owner of the restaurant who also apparently owned a lot of other things in town who was kind enough to give us a discount on the food and also a cheaper rate at the internet place down the road.
